On Life

Wed Jun 7, 2006, 6:34 AM
So my susmmer thus far has been rather uneventful. Interestingly enough, I have infact, discovered that men find me attractive. Wow.

Unfortunately the first instance I discovered this was rather unpleasant, because the person was actually my step-uncle. uhhh....yeah...disturbing. I haven't seen him since I was like twelve and he came in town from my other uncle's wedding and we met him at the airport and (I don't know if I was seeing things that noone else was or not) but anyway, I was there and he came up and hugged me, but he had one of those really weird expressions that guys get sometimes on his face when he did so.

Then at the wedding, I looked hot. I'm going to flat out say it, I did. I don't think anyone could argue with it. I don't think I ever had so many compliments in my entir life. So anyway i'm sitting at the table and my uncle comes and sits next to me and sort of scoots his chair next to mine and he strokes my arm and begins telling me how elegant I look and sorts of other things. By this time I was really disturbed so I got up and went outside.

So yeah, I'm pleased that I'm getting this attention all of a sudden, but not so please that it's coming from my uncle. Eww. Okay, so techincallly he's not realted to me. But still.

Then last night I went jogging, and I'm all sweaty and I'm like broken out in zits and I go into Wallgreens to by some nail polish and the cashier starts hitting on me right there. I was pleased, but I really don't know how to react in these situations. I think I need to take some lessons from Megan.

Been a crazy year, hasn't it? Well, this year is coming to a close, and seeing how this is Christmas *whether or not you celebrate it, that is* I thought I'd pop by to send you my thanks for being so supportive with watches, comments, faves, and whatnot.
Photography has really changed me for the better, and my work would be nothing without dA, and all of you.

Thanks you guys, it really means a lot to me. :)

Heya! It's Merisa, Erin and I decided to make a group to keep track of NEM students, spread the word around, and hopefully we can keep it up to date.
